ICT, trade openness and economic growth in Tunisia: what is going wrong?

چکیده

In the age of digital globalization, information and communication technologies (ICT) international trade seem to have become engines economic growth. this study, we investigate impacts on Tunisia’s growth using ICTs greater openness. We employ a cross-section augmented autoregressive distributed lag (CS-ARDL) model apply Dumitrescu Hurlin Granger causality test panel data for 14 sectors in period 1995–2018. The empirical findings suggest that use has long-term relationship with value added increased Tunisia. addition, openness gross fixed capital formation (GFCF) positive significant effect also examine relationships among these variables short long run. reveals four bidirectional two unidirectional causal between variables.
